ELA Container GmbH has installed solar cell sets from Europart Munich produced by Green Energy/MIPV.pro
Germany’s leading supplier of quality flexible space modules, ELA Container GmbH, which with 40,000 containers, 18 locations in the world and 1,000 employees, is one of the major players in the market, has chosen to have solar cells built into their cars.
With the new solar cell sets, ELA Container, which has 100 cars, wants to be able to ensure stable charging of the consumable batteries on the cars, which results in fuel savings.
Great teamwork
The installation of a complete 110 Wp solar cell set on a Mercedes Actros has taken place in a strong collaboration with Europart Munich, Georg Hopf in Bavaria and Claus Bjerno, Country Manager for Green Energy / MIPV.pro German subsidiary and Jens Ottosen, Technical Director from Green Energy / MIPV .pro department in Denmark.
This collaboration is the result of a major collaboration with Europart, and Georg Hopf’s workshop will assemble the next 2 sets, which are planned for a total of 14 sets.
